On Coyotes post on US Recruitment Policy questions were raised on Irish Neutrality, I started out by writing a response to pointing out that Neutrality does not stop Irish Citizens fighting for what they believe in, it stops the government sending us to war. If you take the example of WW2 just have to look at the number of Irish who signed up and died with the British Army. Neutrality was a choice made at the foundation of our nation where we decided that the Irish Government is not sanctioned to bring its country as a whole to war.

I openly admit that I don’t play on-line poker, and have never watched ‘Late Night Poker’ into the wee hours. This makes me an exception among poker players, my only exposure to Texas hold-em prior to 2 weeks ago was the incessant ranting of colleagues and a few hand played during a ‘Dealers Call’ poker game among friends.
Now I know I am stating the obvious, but the strategies of hold-em are very different the standard Draw or 5-Card Stud games, and I was found lacking, and this is just a quick synopsis of my experiences.
2 weeks ago I was invited to join a multi table tournament of Texas Hold-em, and went along saying how difficult could it be. I had been briefed on the Small and Big Blinds and while ‘All In’ was explained it still wasn’t clear in my mind, you really need to see it happening in a game to get the gist of it.
