The F Word & Japanese Crash Weirdness

November 26, 2006 (6 Responses)

Stumble UponREGULAR READERS will know I’ve been playing around with a Firefox extension known as StumbleUpon, which is essentially a random site thingy. I’ve already written about some of the little gems that I’ve stumbled upon previously, but today I came across two absolutely surreal items which I just have to let you know about.

First up is the F Word. If you’ve ever wanted to know how to use the most flexible word in the English language, then this little animation will prove most instructional, and amusing. Enjoy – but make sure the kids aren’t around when you try this one.

Then there is a very weird (but strangely addictive) Japanese game which seems to revolve around running over someone on a bicycle, and then seeing how far you can throw the body based on angles and velocities and all sorts of crazy shit. It’s mad – I grant you that, and called Nanaca – Crash, but for some reason it’s also particularly addictive as you try to best your previous distance. My record is 3006.23 meters so let me know if you manage to do any better!
