I’VE JUST finished upgrading the site to Wordpress V2.2.1, so if you notice any weird and funky things happening around here (other than the usual insanity that is) please do let me know and I’ll sort out any issues ASAP.
For anyone who is interested the key features in this release (an update from 2.2) are summarised below. The full list of bugs fixed in 2.2.1 is available here. Here are some highlights.
Atom feed validation fixes
XML-RPC fixes
Widget backward compatibility fixes
Widget layout fixes for IE7
Page and Text Widget improvements

Considering the USA lost over 8 million jobs to outsourcing
going to China and India in the last 10 years, I suppose it is a normal reaction that the lowest page workers (the leftovers of the middle class that is almost destroyed, and the death of most American unions which promoted a high wage high growth economy)be the scapegoats while the real criminals; the greedy upper 1% that reap the benefits and also get the tax breaks from the politicians they own make a killing in war and peace. Maybe the 50 million Americans that have no health care and the average American that lives paycheck to paycheck and is one accident or illness or court case away from ruin finds something good in all this. I doubt it!
